Rename your old installation folder before doing the fresh install.

Patch the new installation with the 4.08m and 4.09m patches and the 4.09 skins patch.

Run the Ultrapak 2.01 mod installer.

If you are using Vista or Windows 7 be sure to set all of the game related programs to run as administrator.  We had a couple of incidents where someone could not play because the JSGME program was not set  to run as admin and it would not work.

Use a bit torrent program to download it.  You will have to install it into a clean 4.09m game.

I finally got it to work the other day.  I have either Direct X 10 or 11 as default  and the beta can only play in 9 mode.  If you know of anyone getting kicked back to the desktop after starting the game this could be the issue.

Real easy to fix, go to your documents (which I never would have thought of) click on the MOH beta then click on settings, open it up w/ notepad and on the Direct X line it will read "=auto" change it to "=9"]]> 1277@http://www.fightingphantoms.com medal of honor beta 2010-07-30T18:49:10-04:00
